The staff was thoughtful and attentive. the bed was comfortable. - the room had a seating area, a safe box, and multi-channel television. - the views of the ocean were stunning. - the breakfasts were marvelous and delicious, with yogurt and dairy-free options.

We loved our room, which was very clean and had a free bottle of water and a lovely gas fireplace. the location was excellent, making it easy to travel around Carmel-by-the-Sea. It's a short walk to restaurants, shops, galleries, and the hillside at the top of Mission Street, which offers the best dining options. - Additionally, it was a quick walk down to the beach.

The hotel was wonderful and relaxing. It was clean with thoughtful staff. The central location was convenient, only 10-15 minutes walk from Rodrigue Studio.

The rooms here are super cozy and great, each equipped with two queen beds, a relaxing jacuzzi tub, and a charming gas fireplace - perfect for chilling out 😊 the staff are very friendly and nice, always happy to give you wake-up calls and even do your ironing for free.

I absolutely loved staying here - it was peaceful, the rooms were elegant, pet-friendly, and had balconies.

The room here with a cozy bed was top-notch, pet-friendly, and the breakfast served every morning included a variety of choices overseen by a friendly lady.

The hotel had a central setting by greenery which makes you feel like you are in the jungle.

The breakfast was amazing and delicious with dairy free options, juice/coffee, and a really nice spread of fresh fruit. the location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, on a hill 4 blocks uphill from Ocean Ave.

our recent stay in carmel-by-the-sea was incredible. tradewinds carmel exceeded our expectations with its comfortable rooms, zen outdoor space, and delicious breakfast. the staff went above and beyond, even helping us retrieve a lost item. can't thank them enough!

Thought the upgrade to "Ocean view" room was a bad joke. Luxurious Frette Bedlinens don't mean much if the pillowcases are so worn that they had holes in them...Sad for the price............

I stayed at Tradewinds for a romantic getaway and it was perfect. The hotel had fireplaces in the bedrooms, which created a cozy atmosphere. The location was great, close to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The rooms were clean and spacious, with soft linens. The grounds were peaceful and had waterfalls and a gas fire pit. The free breakfast was delicious, although I wish they would add eggs and bacon. a lovely and convenient hotel.

I recommend this hotel.
